Bratt Pans
A bratt pan (sometimes called a tilt skillet) really is a superbly versatile piece of commercial kitchen equipment. Designed for the biggest, busiest establishments, huge quantities of food can be cooked in a wide variety of ways - perfect for mass catering kitchens.
Bratt pans are generally freestanding and include a large, wide single-piece cooking pot and lid. Due to their size, a bratt pan usually has either an electric or manually operated tilting mechanism, which makes dispensing food and cleaning the machine easier. Bratt pans are often used either alongside or instead of a high capacity cooking kettle.
